Windsor Green

[by Javier de Blas in La Rioja, Spain] We walk around the La Grajera reservoir, in Logroño. The daylight is already spring and the color of the water attracts me, I return to it every little bit. That bluish green (emerald, turquoise, viridian …?) contrasts with the dryness of the sand and Mediterranean scrub, it has a majestic point. We sit. I look for the tone by mixing Permanent Green and Prussian Blue. Later I find the color in the W&N catalog: Windsor Green. Yes, it deserves its name.
