Last month I went to parlor shop for my hair perm. Waiting for my turn I kept sketching the hairdresser. She was a very good model for drawing in body shape and changing poses. I could have completed this one on the last page of 20 pages in my guess. The white water sprayer hung in her apron pocket was the point which made me feel like sketching.
I saw her in Myeongdong Cathedral on July 11. The church is big and old since 1898. Usually it's crowded by participants in every mass. But that day there were some vacant seats. And there was nobody around her two or three raw ahead of me. Certain church weekly notes that believers are asked not to wear non-sleeve shirts, sleepers and so on for serious worshiping. The message seems to be still same as before. Therefore her costume was felt very fresh to me. Oh, beautiful young lady. Her pale blue blouse was cool, which make me air-conditioned too in hot weather. I drew her at the end of the mass after hesitating so many times because I didn't want to disturb others' praying. Fortunately a chance which I never expected came. There was a short time for chorus. Yes, I used it instantly. And the following standing pose was made at the time of ending. I added watercolor after mass at home. I might have regretted if I didn't have taken out sketchbook at that time. Nobody cared at all while my drawing!
