[By Javier de Blas, symposium 2016 correspondent] Richard Briggs was explaining how to capture a sense of place when I arrived in Oxford Road Station.
Marion Rivolier's students were traying to "paint like nobody's watching" while I was watching the way they were painting Oxford Road Station Approach.
Norberto Donantes was coachig Extreme Angles while I tried to sketch some of his students from one of those angles, even though my angle wasn't so extreme.
Sketchwalk-C was supposed to be done along the Bridgewater Canal. I started a sketch from the meeting point while the rest of the people were coming but I had to leave it when we started the walk. Unfortunatedly it started raining (again...) and we had to refuge at the Library. Good experience, though.
Drink&draw is always a good moment to draw free and to know better the colleages, as in Peveril.
