[ Suhita Shirodkar in California] I was at Santana Row, an outdoor shopping mall in San Jose on a hot Saturday morning. They had a fancy car show that day (my term, not theirs). When you look at these sketches I bet you can tell that the people fascinated me more than the cars did. They posed by the cars, photographed them, peered into their interiors and rhapsodized about this model versus that.
That very last car I remember was a Lamborghini. But the rest, I don’t recall. But they were all brightly colored and sleek looking, and much-gawked at.
