[By Kumi Matsukawa in Tokyo, Japan]
These are recent sketches done at different places in the same day. When the subject differs, my approach changes. I often wonder about how he/ she ( sketchers I know) would draw the same thing I draw....
As to this one ( view of Shibuya seen from the pedestrian bridge), I was thinking about Virginia's highway drawings and wished this has driving feel like hers.
A panoramic view of narrow alley of Shibuya. this place certainly reminded me a lesson of the workshop by Lapin at the Singapore symposium last year.(Workshop G All you can see 180゜sketching)
Inside view of a cafeteria.
In this drawing I used markers, then I wanted it'll have Ekaterina's drawings feel that I always admire.
