Presenter: Gail Wong
Are you itching to lead a workshop at the next symposium and have a great idea for it? Do you want to share a specific approach to sketching with other sketchers? Have you had problems with getting a workshop proposal accepted? Then this is the lecture for you.
In this lecture, Gail will outline the Symposium Workshops evaluation process and share with you the keys to creating a more successful workshop proposal. You will find out what the Education Committee looks for when reviewing a proposal, the types of drawing samples that you should include to support your submittal, and discuss some of the pitfalls in a weak proposal. She will also share some examples of past proposals and talk about what made them successful. Finally we will look at some workshops in action and discuss possible topics to consider for the future symposium workshops.
If you are interested in becoming a Symposium Workshop Instructor at the next Symposium this lecture will give you useful information in preparing your next proposal.
