[By USk Editorial Team] Did you notice the new look of the site?
Fonts and colors are different, yes, but there's more!
We are giving the work of our correspondents and guest contributors more visibility with eye-catching galleries displayed at full width right on the home page.
There, you can also find a section called "Don't Miss" showcasing posts from our archives that may have scrolled off the home page too fast. To see older posts, click the red USk Blog tab.
Overall, information and sketches can be found more easily by locale, author and storytelling theme by clicking on red labels next to the headlines or below each post. Those labels take you to archive pages with thumbnail images of filtered posts. Click the [London] label, for example, and you’ll land a menu of posts with the very many London scenes our correspondents and guest contributors have captured over the years.
Oh, and we have a handy new, red search button in the top right corner of the site.
The upgrade also gives other teams in our organization a new home for their content. The Symposium Team will be publishing all Symposium-related news on the USk Symposium page. Information about workshops from the Education Team will live on the USk Workshops page. And all of that content will also be highlighted on separate sections on the new home page to make sure you don't miss any of it.
It's been several years since the site was last redesigned, so we felt it was time to freshen both its appearance and functionality.
Take a look around. Whether you are on a laptop, smartphone or tablet, we hope you like the changes.
