November. One week after the Climate Change Conference in Paris. While writing these words, I hear the radio telling this is the hottest December 17 since the invention of the thermometer.
Finally I have finished the lay out of my book "Abadaringi". It has been a huge task: 320 pages of sketches and stories about an art school in Rwanda (one day I hope to present this book in English language). From now everything is in the hands of my publisher Oogachtend and the book will come out in January, in Dutch language.
For the first time since many months, I have the time to wander around and to sketch in my neighborhood. The works on the highway to Molenbeek got well on, since frost has not yet come. The rails for the new tramway have arrived now, the cycle paths are large and the traffic lanes are narrow. Will people leave their cars at home when the works will be finished, and stop the climate warming?
