Just before last Christmas season I dropped in catholic church located at Hongje-dong, Seoul. I expected calm and pretty scenes with twinkling lights around the church. But I met a messy one with electric lines, mats, bricks, stepladder and noisy sound of electric tools. The altar was under remodeling. The inside was not cozy at all by open doors dusts all over. But the disordered scene was unusual, so I decided to catch some scenes. I moved left and right for capturing their working features. Because I used to keep mask in winter it was very useful in such construction field. I could hear the conversation of teaching how to use electric cutting machine for cutting thin tiles to the fellow worker. Their poses were stable for minutes. They didn't care about my drawing them. And one guy told me 'You draw well!' with smile when I left the church at the stairs. We shared the hard working moments at that time.
