A group from the London Urban Sketchers recently had a great opportunity to draw looking out from the 32nd floor of one of London’s skyscrapers. I was lucky to be included and although I’m not great with heights, the chance of this drawing opportunity was too good to miss!
The view was simply amazing – I’d never seen London this way before. I’d brought an A2 piece of paper to work on which was good as there was so much to include.
I’ve included this last effort - it was meant to be the Shard! – as the group were talking about the fact that not all drawings go well and it’s sometimes good to share those that don't work out.
Many thanks to James and Carlos for organising. It was a fantastic experience.
