I spent a month in Berlin breathing the fresh breeze from the canal, cycling throughout the city and wondering how my city in Brazil has to learn from the Germans.
In Berlin the public spaces are occupied by people, not by cars and people can enjoy the spring afternoons sitting at the riverbank.
The city was rebuilt, the memory of past pain and loss so visible in the streets may have given the wisdom of what a good place to live is made of.
