There used to be these kind of so-called foreigner's houses ( US Naval housings where officers and their family lived ) near my house when I was a small child. Whenever I see these kind of houses they recall my childhood memory. I had an American friend called Caorine (maybe her name must be Caroline, I just couldn't hear well nor pronounce correctly at that time) who lived a house like these near my place. Sadly her father was killed in the Vietnam war so she and her family went back their hometown... Now the number of these kind of houses has been decreasing since they are really old. But I like to see them and want them to remain. The one in the background is renovated as a Cafeteria. Unfortunately it was closed today...
