Playing Around in My Sketchbook at the Brooklyn Bridge

Sometimes you don't have a lot of time to draw in one place. Like when my step-daughters came to visit us for this past week. We had a great time running around all over NYC, and I had a great time playing around in my sketchbook for an hour or so at Brooklyn Bridge park, while Neil and the girls relaxed on the grass. It's kind of great to have limited tools and limited time once in a while. Gives you an excuse to just thumbnail and try new things.
Next Tuesday I'll be sailing on the Charles W. Morgan into Boston - looking forward to posting some of my experiences here! - posted by Veronica Lawlor

Limited tools and limited time are the best catalysts for me as well. Really love your experiments with different techniques and compositions here!

I dig your bridge vignettes. Glad to hear I'm not the only one with limited sketch time at the moment; my pages are resembling montages!
