If you have never been, the Dulwich Picture Gallery is a fabulously green and calm space, tucked away in the midst of the busy, grubbiness of South London. We went on Friday, to see the Art and Life show, which was probably the most inspiring exhibition I have seen since the jaw-droppingly fantastic Hockney show at the Royal Academy.
It was a lovely sunny day, so we had lunch outside then, buzzing with excitement, I had to sit on the grass and do some quick paintings.
Once I had got it out of my system sufficiently to carry on with real life, we set of to do battle with rush-hour traffic. It was a total nightmare getting back, but well well worth it.
She wasn't sitting there when I started, honest guv!
