CER: a sketched reportage along an artificial canal

I have been drawing along an artificial canal in my region (Emilia Romagna) since a few years as a job for CER, a complicate system of dewatering pumps that carries water from the river Po for a hundred kilometers along the countryside, mainly for irrigation purpose.

My drawings have been just collected in a book that will be distribute for free and two days of sketching with me will be offered next weekend near two of the main plants. Nice that some smart engineers involved an urban sketcher to describe technical matters to citizens in a more understandable way. This is fantastic! Your sketches were so clear, beautifully rendered and I loved the additional layer of text and call outs! I could smell the soil and water.
