The Corrala Utopía in Seville is still struggling. The neighbors are at a crucial moment and put on the negotiating table with the bank a possible solution to the situation of the families who are living there: The expropriation of the building or its social rental housing.
There is no agreement by now. But they remain there. They resist.
They demand the City Council to provide them the light and water for their houses, taken from them and replaced with an embarrassing fountain in street where they daily fill their bottles.
Now more than ever they require society to fight and not to relax. They ask for support in their fight to stay in their houses because housing is a fundamental right for all of us.
And because this struggle is our struggle too.
