Bad Air Day

Sketching is the best thing to do when you're waiting for your car in the shop. I hung out here in front of "Horn Photo" in Fresno, in what I think is called the Villagio shopping area off of Blackstone and sketched from my car. Once again, the kids I teach in the area weren't allowed to have recess because the air quality was so bad. I feel bad for them. It reminds me of growing up in LA county, when the "breath mobile" would come by and I would get free breathing tests. Ugh.

I´ve never been panting inside the car, but I think I'll try !

As usual, I love the way you paint skys. You always make it look like there are layers and layers of clouds.

The steering wheel gets in the way, at times, so I go around and sit in the passenger seat now and then. The dashboard is good for holding the paint set.

Clouds are always a mystery for me to get right. This one turned out ok, but it doesn't always work for me.

Doesn't seem fair that the air quality of the central valley is because it's downwind from the large coastal populations.

Great composition and the complimentary color scheme. Love the bird on top!

The bird only stayed for a minute, so I had to draw him before he flew off.
