Santa Catarina Market in Barcelona

Fantastic work of Miralles-Tagliabue study. It is a traditional market in central area of Barcelona. Under this beautiful cover the original structure of the market and the archaeological discoveries are respected. The sculptor Toni Cunella performed the design of the ceramic lining the cover a sort of pixelated photo that leaves find their colors from different angles.

This drawing is done from the back of the market, taking something fresh in the heat of summer and only thinking about the theme of the roof and parasols. The columns are not represented. I incredably face drawing from that point of view.
