Thailand, especially Bangkok, were dotted with thousand of temples. Temples are places where Thais associate with from first to last days of lives. Temples are today where visitors to Thailand could take a good glimpse into Thais ways of life, and often, from some truly enviable vantage points! such as the ones I am sharing below here.
Several great temples of Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, lined the Chao Phraya River which is the main blood line of central Bangkok. Temple of Dawn on the west bank of this great river, restored to its present glory over hundreds of years ago, is one such gems. I chanced upon some new breed of boutique hotels and restaurants across the river right opposite the temple recently. It was a real privilege for enjoyment of such a view, it was great indeed but for only those who can afford it, unfortunately!
I did a few sketches while having some meals and good cup of coffee, paying through my nose, of course.

Dining areas on wooden decks offered the great view of the temple on the other side of the Chao Phraya River.
