Unfortunately San Francisco was cold and misty, it was impossible to say if there were really twin peaks.
In the afternoon the sun broke through, too late to warm the city, but it made these sketches from the boat possible. Unfortunately the tickets for access to Alcatraz had been sold out for weeks, but the view from the water was nice as well.
I was lucky to meet Rob Carey in the city, we had a long talk over some nice beers. Unfortunately no time to sketch together, but we will next time.
The last sketch is the scene across the street from our hotel on Market street. We had dinner and american type of breakfast (that's huge for a European stomach) in Sam's Diner there.
Each morning some homeless were checking the waste bins. To be correct I should add that these were the only homeless that we saw during our trip.
More sketches to come.
