Recent food sketches

Buffet style breakfast : I just picked the color of each food. Mostly finished one or two strokes, then drew the suggestive lines of plates and the tray. And ate.

Hotel breakfast

Cake and coffee : While waiting for my cake to be served, I drew knife and folk leisurely. I didn't need to rush drawing cake either, since it wouldn't get cold anymore (but coffee.)

Fried shrimp and young sardines with miso soup : I needed to hurry drawing them so that I was able to enjoy crisp and hot bite.

Eating and sketching is a huge challenge especially when you're hungry and noodle dishes with splashing soup! Nice job.
I was curious on your first dish - was it a dish divided up into 9 sections?

I'm sure, I ( and those who have this practice ) maybe look odd :-) Tip: I draw the image of surface( of coffee, soup or noodle ) detail first, then eat. You can draw the cups and plates later. Yes, those 9 sections in a plate prevent each food from mixed up, also this structure prevent us putting too much portion at a time.
