Albion road in Stoke Newington (London suburbs). I was
waiting there in the very early morning for the night bus N73, to start the trip home to the Netherlands.
In my eyes it's a typical London suburban street, with rows of small colourful shops mostly run by Pakistan, Turkish or Chinese shopkeepers. London must be one of the most multicultural cities I've ever visited.
One funny note: just before I started this drawing I saw a fox sneaking through the front lawns of Clissold crescent (the road to the left), I suppose moving towards Clissold park a little further away. Not something you would expect in the middle of London!

This is my street, Rene! My newsagent, health food shop and barber. I live about 100 metres down Clissold Crescent. Urban Sketchers are closing in...
We actually see a lot of foxes around London. They stroll around quite brazenly. I've probably seen the one you saw!
Drop in, next time.
You must be joking! So I walked by your house last Sunday morning! I was there to visit my daughter who lives for the time being in the student home at Collins road. I will drop in next time!
I cycle along Collins Road regularly. And stood at that bus stop waiting for a 73 bus just this morning. Let me know when you are around next!
I will. I still can't get over the coincidence. I wish I knew before. You live in a nice neighbourhood!
I love this and wow, coincidence indeed.
Thanks Stephen, the world seems very small at times.
I love how foxes slip between the houses at night. We have that here in Sheffield a lot too. I haven't thought of Clissold Park in years... my old stamping ground!
They are beautiful animals, these foxes. Move like cats.
I was walking up the road the other day and was no more than a couple of metres from a fox. Odd, but I've never seen one in the park, or even the countryside.
HOW COOL! I STAYED ON THAT STEET A LOOOONG TIME AGO. I THINK THE HOSTEL WAS CALLED 'TACK & JAY' OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, ON ALBION 51. SAME BUS, SAME STREET...GOING DOWN MEMORY LANE. GREAT STORY WITH THE FOX
Thanks Mexian, that bus seems to be a Urban sketchers hotspot!
