I just change the materials depending on the subject, or my mood. There is no rule. One thing these drawings have in common, that is, there is no plan in advance, so I have no idea what kind of result will emerge until I complete my drawing.

Each drawing as a journey of discovery & experimentation. I applaud your adventurous process, Kumi.
These are all great experimentations! I really love the colors in the tea and cake sketch. You have inspired me to try colored pencils.
I really like that multi colored pencil. It's like automatic fun!
Thanks to al for your feedback! My journey goes on, maybe with more colored pencils to find more expression.
I am going to try that coloured pencil technique. I like these sketches.
All of these are great, but I love the multi-coloured pencil the most! Very inspiring.
Multi colored pencil gives surprising effect on your drawings. Unlike picking each color one by one, you can't escape the colors that you were not intended to use to appear in each your stroke, but that is the reason this pencil drawing has a kind of unity. Hope you try and enjoy.
