Big Clouds

Shiho Nakaza watercolor sketch of clouds in Los Angeles daytime

I like sketching big clouds that form after the rain - this is a quick lunchtime sketch as seen from inside the office building where I work. Big clouds like this usually only happens in the winter here in Los Angeles - soon the sky is going to be flat blue on sunny days, or flat gray on overcast days. Here's to a happy spring (or autumn) equinox, wherever you are in the world!

Love your Los Angeles sky panorama. Those clouds are precious and fascinating elements and we will never be able to see the same shape twice.
