Barrio Santa Rita en Buenos Aires

Barrio Santa Rita en Buenos Aires by ARQd

Barrio Santa Rita en Buenos Aires, a photo by ARQd on Flickr.
Villa Santa Rita is one of the neighborhoods that is divided into the City of Buenos Aires. It is a residential neighborhood with low buildings with a legal maximum of 8 floors and terrace, although it should be noted that the intersection of Basin and the coast lies a building of about 20 stories high.
He became the first housing district "social" where all the houses have the same structure and appearance. Now each neighbor intervened they home and over time has formed a mosaic. Here I was struck by the contrast of scale of these early dwellings, with generous spaces, interesting heights against the concrete building of 20 floors ... the home-made machine.
