Although the next World Wide SketchCrawl is scheduled on the 19th January, we Tokyo sketchers already had random sketch crawl twice this month. One was held in Ginza and the other one was in Akasaka, Tokyo. We had participants from overseas: Steve from Tennessee, Richard from NY, Ali from Pakistan and Damian from Calgary. Each session took rather short time, but meeting new sketch friends and seeing /showing drawings as well as sketch materials each other is always so inspiring. Hope we'll meet again sometime, everyone.

It was great to be a part of one of USK Tokyo's sketch crawls. Can't wait to see what you do next week!

Great, lively sketches, I especially like the stairway - makes me a little dizzy to look down it!
Isabel - thank you! I change my sketch materials, paper, and procedure case by case, so sometimes my each drawing look incoherent. You can see how stress and environment influence my mood and the results.
R - It was a pleasure meeting you! And I'l keep an eye on your group result too ;-)
Cathy - Haha, Since last year I fell down from a stairway, they became to draw my attention.
I love that stairway sketch as well--and all your sketching in the street--the life and frenzy of the city is so beautifully captured!
Thank you, Virginia!
