2012 Christmas Concert at Grace Cathedral

Happy New Year everybody around the world! 2013 is growing on me already, slowly. You know how it is when you get something new, you don't open it for a few days but now I quite like 2013 and am looking forward to all the sketches and places it will bring. We had a nice Christmas here in California, and a week or so before Christmas I went down to Grace Cathedral in Nob Hill (San Francisco) to the annual Christmas Concert, a SF tradition. I illustrated the cover of their program for the second year running, and at the concert I took the opportunity for a panoramic drawing. It was a lovely concert, and afterwards my wife and I went for a nice Mai Tai at the Tonga Room, in the nearby Fairmont Hotel, followed by a lovely French meal. I love San Francisco.

Wonderful panoramic drawing, Pete, and congratulations on the cover again. Grace Cathedral and the Tonga Room, what a great Christmas combination! (from a former San Franciscan!)

Brilliant concert scene, I can almost hear the music.
And these are such beautiful program covers! Congratulations, Pete!
