Canterbury

After my trip to Scotland I made my way down to Kent to visit my parents, the live near Canterbury which is a truly beautiful city and, of course has some great old pubs. The City Arms and the Cricketers are two that I love to visit. I was able to sneak just a couple of drawings in and a couple of pints too.

Excellent!
That first one with the cathedral on the horizon is particularly great.

Absolutely fantastic. The perspective on the bottom piece is particularly impressive. :)

Beautiful sktches Stephen. I have been reading about the decline of pubs in the UK. Glad to see there are still some beauties where you can sketch and quench your thirst.

Yes there is decline, I think it's to do with the smoking ban. Many are finding it hard going, usually in a recession the pubs do pretty well.
