British Automobiles in Boston

Here's a number of British cars sketched during the winter break at the Larz Anderson Auto museum here in Boston. These cars were some of the popular models that were imported into America after WWII displayed at this exhibition titled "Britain can make it".

I liked how the mannequins were standing next to the cars wearing the fashion of it's times.

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!

Great - love how you have kept them loose and lively, while still capturing the forms perfectly.

Nice sketches!
Cars had a lot of unique style and personality then. Now they are appliances for the most part - but much more reliable and economical ironically.
