The green tide

There is a general discomfort in the sector of education in Spain by government budget cuts in public school.

Teachers, parents, students and other education sectors have joined in strikes and protests wearing the color green on their T-shirts in defending the permanence of a free quality education for everyone.

It´s called the green tide.

I had never understand why, out of all the stuff worth cutting (like the expensive and large travels of the presidents), they always start with Education? I don't get it. Hope your demands are heard and it comes to positive conclusion for the teachers.

even in potentially rich economies (like the german) the expensions for education are shrinking every year, the sector that should be procted even in financial crisis seems to be the first to be cut - a really shattering stupidness.

great expressive drawing!
