Sketching salsa

I drew these in very dim light. I couldn't see how they look until I saw them in the bright room. Just I knew where the certain color is in my palette by my experience.I enjoyed the challenge.

The most difficult part of dancing salsa is that women always have to follow men's command... So when I dance, I go like a disobedient dog.

And when I draw, I go like a playing cat immersed in capturing a moving toy.

I love your drawings. I love the story. I love how you describe the way you draw.

These are wonderful Kumi, almost as fun to look at as they must have been to do. :)

You may have been drawing in the dark, but you certainly captured the mood and the feel of the music. Very nice!

Wonderful capture of movement Kumi - they are really dancing around the page. I have no idea how you managed those lovely watercolours, but I am so glad you did!

Love your statement. "cat immersed in capturing a moving toy". Your Gorbi comes to mind and all the joy he gave you.
