I've been doing some pencil drawings on location lately, as seen in this post and this one, for example.
Actually I learn how to work with masses using pencil, in the Mauricio Takiguthi art school and then apply it in other kind of medias.
This one I did a few days ago, in the incredible building design by the architect Lina Bo Bardi, Sesc Pompeia.
I've been there a lot of times to draw, so I had to look something unusual for me this time, and so I found this interesting spot, with those giant concrete umbrellas (actually they support some sort of machines), and some urban sun bathers.
In my blog I add a few pictures of the process. Take a look there.
This drawing has nothing to do with Christmas, but I take the opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas!!
Cheers!

Great rendering and who wouldn't want to be in the sun at Christmas? Happy Holidays.
