underground flowers

some organic beauty in the geologic underworld of u-station kaiserdamm.

there are flower-vendors on a lot of berlin stations, mostly with minimal facilities and an improvised arrangement of plants into the public space. a hard job, especially in autumn and winter. i can tell (after having drawn this), that it is even colder and more windy underground than outdoors.

great sketch! I love that you added color on the flower's side only.

thanks! - there were about no colors (worth mentioning) on the other side, in reality....

I always love your sketches, very free and spontaneous! Great.

Very nice sketch.
I like the subject of the very beauty of products from nature, combined with the most depressing environments created by men; subways.
Thank you for sharing,

Arnold - i do not mind subways, cultivated mean of urban transport and allways a good sketching-location...
