Tree felled

Terrible storm we had a few days ago. Hurricane Sandy…wow. Not much to say except that I wish all affected a speedy recovery.

Here is a tree across the street from my home. It ripped up the lawn in this perfect triangle. Unbelievable.

That tree looks like it could easily have taken out that house. Been thinking of you East coasters over there - hope all is well!

I too hope all is well there now. Your drawing is a great way to share the chaos caused by Sandy. So well done! (drawing, not Sandy!)

A close call indeed, looks as though it has pulled a great green carpet! All the best for your cleanup.

I, too, wish everyone in the path of the storm a quick return to normal. The destruction does look very bad.

I saw this http://cubiclebot.com/pictures/making-the-most-out-of-hurricane-damage-in-nj-image/ in my flipboard feed and couldn't quite figure out what it depicted until I saw your sketch!
