Bo Soremsky is correspondent for Berlin Urban Sketchers. He was born in 1983 in Duisburg, Germany. After school he studied graphic design in Krefeld. In 2006, during his studies, he moved to Berlin. After finishing his diploma he did a masters degree in illustration /reportage drawing in Potsdam. Since 2011 he is working as a freelance-illustrator in Berlin.
The work of Bo is very interesting. He keeps experimenting the use of on-site drawing in the digital media. One interesting work was a courtroom reportage in a trial, where a well-known German weather man, was accused of rape. In "Der Kachelmann Prozess" Bo combines drawings made during the process, with others that describes some of events of the case. The whole presentation is interactive. When rolling over the images you get more information about the case.
Lately Bo Soremsky has been doing some simple animations of Berlin street scenes. He draw the image on site and later add some animation to the scene. Usually pedestrians, cars and bikes.
