| How I work and what mediums I use depends a lot on how much time I have. We went to Case Park, overlooking the confluence of the Missouri and Kansas Rivers, to picnic and sketch...so I had more time than usual! |

| I didn't have all that long for these either but I was making use of my time in parking lots and playing with the Pentel Pocket Brush again. These are two separate parking lot views, the bottom one on the edge of town. |

Couldn't agree more! I love the spontaneous energy in the sketch at bottom, and the top is just beautiful--love how elegantly you describe that curved wall.

They are all lovely! Just goes to show that it is your skill and how you use it which determine how good a sketch is, and not the length of time spent on it.
Thank you both! And Balaji, I think you're quite right, I've seen sketches that were just a line or two that stunned me with their beauty and immediacy. I wouldn't put mine in the same ballpark, but you know what I mean...
This is indeed a wonderful set of drawings. The variation of how you execute each situation , each scene is a tribute to your responsiveness and, of course, skill as a painter.
