first sketches after moving to a new part of Davis

part of lutheran church, north davis

I recently moved from south Davis to north Davis, which means my orientation is all over the place (and my disorganization has meant less sketching, but this has thankfully been remedied). I got out a week or so ago to explore my new neighbourhood and came upon this unusual building, part of the Our Faith Lutheran Church on Oak Avenue. It has a weird lookout poking out of the roof like a periscope. There is another smaller outhouse with a similar shape in the grounds but I don’t know what they are for. Further down the street, I drew the main church building itself, which has a big blue window, looking across the street at the Davis High School football field (whose football team are called the Blue Devils, funnily enough).
