These are what I found on a sunday morning walk:
a hundred white Taxis at their second week of strike had occupied our main square,

the white statue-man on his 10' break, taking an aspirine, smoking a cigarette and fixing his white make up,

white boats parked on the sea front, and a man that was going to repaint (white) one,

and a bit of white on Vesuvio's top and on a man's hat.
Soundtrack: La bianchezza della balena - "bianco" means white.

Hi Simo....I love the idea of using older, yellowed paper for highlighting a specific color! I can think of some great ideas using white....can see Mt. Hood today and it is wearing it's white Winter coat! Also wish I were back in the charming Italian town of Mattinata, which, influenced from it's Greek neighbor, has predominantly white buildings. Thanks for the inspiration!
Wonderful sketches with an elegant, casual flair!
Wonderful sketches as always. I am just starting a small Fabriano skwetchbook with many coloured papers. When I get tot he stronger colours I plan to use white also.
beautiful and goes well with soundtrack
lovely use of coloured paper and whites..sketches are wonderful as always..
A very interesting selection of subjects...and of course, lovely sketches.
great series Simo what a wonderful way of looking for white, really beautiful
Really poetic- this is a great idea!
Great idea, Simo...the interplay of black with the small patches of white has given these a very elegant feel.
