The study of Spanish takes up a lot of my life. and it takes me a lot of places, not just to class.

After class, on the F train. The trip to class is a long one: becomes a metaphor. The grammer may kill me: consecutive clauses.

We're reading Ernesto Sábato's classic El Túnel. It's my second time with the book and by now I have it in three versions: 2 paperback editions and on my Kindle. I get my one of my dictionaries, I turn my hour glass, and I read.

When I started learning Spanish, my goal was to be able to read Cien Años de Soledad (One Hundred Years of Solitude) in Spanish. I made it. Now my goal is to draw as well as you!

¡Gina, Cien Años is a very ambitious goal! Salusos. (That's a lovely thing to say about my drawing).

Suerte con tu español. Cuando vuelvas por aquí espero poder dibujar contigo y practicar andaluz. ;D

Lovely sketches and a good use of your commute time! I'm also studying Spanish to prepare for the Symposium - I'm at a very elementary level, though....
