El lenguaje del Túnel: rumiando sobre un día execrable. 17 febrero, 2012. (The language of the Tunnel: ruminating on an execrable day.)

Link (The language of the Tunnel: ruminating on an execrable day. The monologue is a little extreme for the subway.) Once again, on the F train, heading back to Brooklyn after Spanish class. Nearing the end of the Tunnel. What next?

Another wonderful subway scene--another world.
FYI: Saturday I sketched at Stanford University's Cantor Visual Arts Center. It currently has an exhibition of Walker Evan's photography. He did a series in 1938-41 of the subway and its denizens.

I'll take a look at the link. I love Evans' subway photographs. My day job (until I retired) was curatorial: photograph collection. Evans has always been a favorite!

Admire all of your sketches in those 'urban tones'!
