January

1-е января
1-st of january. 15 of us meet in the evening, we have a walk in the foggy, festive-illuminated city, which ends up having a dinner at our local cafe, where we occupy half of the tables.
my box
Wok cafe "My box". Had rice noodles with chicken in a sour-sweet sauce, yammi! Only two years ago we didn't have any wok cafes at all, now we have several chains.
Dve Palochki
Had sushi before going to "The Girl with he dagon tatoo", cafe was fool of girls sitting in pairs, smoking.
Terminal -15' outside, brrrr
The december and the beginning of january were unusual warm, now it's retribution: -15 'c, i'm sitting in the very corner of the bar, wrapped in all my clothes, drinking green tea watching the scenes taking place.

Great sketches and look at what is happening in St. Petersburg. Sushi and cigarettes are hard to come by these days in my part of the world.

Enjoy the tea and hope to see more sketches.

Nice treatment with the line and suggestion of color in the first cafe dinner sketch.

Nice sketches!
I like the line work in all of them, and the colour scheme in the 2nd and the 4th ones.

I find this set of drawings oddly inspiring, and comfy. Beautiful work, especially with the 'unfinished business'!

The first one is my favourite as well.

Me too - love the way the colour has been so sparingly used in that one and the way even the line fades in and out.

Very elegant drawings, and I especially love the selective line and color in the first one too!
