Sketchcrawl in Lisbon

Carrying on in the same vein that I did throughout the symposium (as I said in my previous post, I kept doing tests, out of my own schemes, testing different ways to draw, different materials or ways of looking)… during the sketchcrawl held in Praca do Comerco, the last day, I did this three drawings …

Honestly I hold on what I could, I was tired, I’d say exhausted with the intensity of those days, so when I had enough I got up, I even left abandoned my sketchbook, to avoid temptation and to relax a little. I went to see other sketchers in the square, especially my admired Gerard Michel. I love his drawings, but seeing him drawing is even better, all he does seems really easy; it seems so, but it is not, isn´t it?

The atmosphere in the square was really great, many colleagues around, drawing, chatting, joking … a moment of a great brotherhood you don´t want to end ever.
