A typical postcard

Málaga, cathedral

If you ever come to Málaga, this is one of the most common views you will find on the postcards that are sold in the old district of the city. It is not surprising as it captures one of the most beautiful corners of it, the massive tower of the renaissance cathedral framed by the facades of ancient buildings and showing up behind the smaller Sagrario church.

But precisely for that reason I have always avoided drawing that view, considering it too stereotyped. However, last saturday we had a long coffee seating outside at a terrace in that same place… I couldn’t resist the temptation.
