la vie en rose

to follow tommy kane's post about his airport blues.
I used to feel the same about sketching in airports and planes. the excitement of travelling surrounded by all this "flying-machine" is sometime not enough to feel boring while waiting hours in impersonal terminal and planes… especially when it's every week.
but for now a month, I started sketching with a single point of view: the one we all have travelling in low coast companies, the nose touching the sit in front. and it creates quickly a collection. at first, every sketches look the same, but they are full of small details that make it funny to me. so next week, when I'll go to paris, I know that I will have 2 more sketches for my collection, and I feel happy ;)

Lapin, you must have two more eyeballs next to your ears, these are awesome! I'm going to try this "fishbowl lens" effect on my next airplane flight very soon!

These really capture very well all of the feelings on a plane- the claustrophobia, the boredom- all of it. Well done.

Great one! I like this idea of a collection and the importance of the details... it looks a bit like those series of drawings on which you have to tick 10 differences;)

I agree with Isabel - will be keeping awake during any flights with you!
Love the perspective on these...if only coach were this roomy.
