I like to share these two drawings done on two separate sunny Saturday mornings here to cheer our urban sketchers who are experiencing the icy-cold weather at this time of the year. These are urban drawings from Club Street, Singapore. Club Street is a street that is lined with a row of local styled building called 'Shophouse'. In the past, people stayed upstairs with their shops on the ground floor. Now the street is rejuvenated with coporate offices, showrooms, pubs and shops. BBC - top drawing; had their local office at Club Street.
Greetings from Manchester, UK!

respect to the detail Tia! Two super drawings. very colonial looking - not as imagined Singapore - nice to challenge preconceptions!
Nice character to these sketches. Love the little splotches of green in there..
Thanks for all the comments. The splotches of green were caused by the sweat from the palm of my hand. haha...:-)
