Meet the correspondents: NEW YORK > Melanie Reim

A sketch of Venice, Melanie's favorite city.

"Simply put, I love to draw.

Being able to travel, be it in my own city, or to other parts of the world and record what I see in this way, is what makes me tick.

My eyes are bigger, my memories stronger and my immersion in the environment is more connected for having spent the time to sit, to absorb and finally, to tell the story of where I have been —through my drawings— and in turn, they tell me stories back."
