Meet the correspondents: EDINBURGH > Stuart Kerr

“Drawing in Scotland can be cold. Apart from that, it’s a great way to really get to know a city and it’s people — hearing fragments of conversations and taking in how the architecture was stuck together. I almost always use a 0.4 pilot Hitec-C in a moleskine. Having lived in Osaka for 3 years where I rekindled the love for drawing and got infatuated with overpasses, Edinburgh’s gothic streets are a dramatic departure.”
